High Penetration 254mm - 381mm Size Carbide Tipped DTH DrillDrill Bits for Tunneling Mining
Down-the-hole rock tools (drilling tools) are rock drilling equipment which takes compressed air as power source to partially transfer impact power into drilling holes. An air distributing device in a top hammer controls a piston to move back and forth. An impact device arranged in the front of the top hammer transfers the impact powder to a down-the-hole bit to crush rocks.
DTH rock drill bits are the tools of cutting rock. KSQ DTH bits are made of superior quality alloy steel which is made by Timken in U.S. Besides, all our DTH bits are using the brand "Element Six" T.C carbide which provides (the T.C buttons) for Boart Longyear. In addition art manufacturing technology makes our DTH bits with higher and more reliable quality.

When selecting the right bit for optimum performance you have to balance penetration against bit life. On occasion you can successfully sacrifice bit life for penetration, remember the rule of thumb that states that a 10% increase in penetration covers at least a 20% loss in bit life. KSQ commonly has three basic bits head designs: Flat Face, Convex and Concave. These are designed for specific applications for all rock types, hardness’s and conditions:
